How does your talent pool stack up against your competition?

Chris Behrens, President and CEO

Attracting, hiring and retaining top-quality employees is the key to building a high-performing marketing organization. Are you having an easier time finding qualified candidates to build your team, or is your organization facing some headwinds?

A recent survey of Twin Cities’ marketing executives, commissioned by YA, uncovered some interesting new data on viewpoints regarding staff strengths and weaknesses. One bright spot is the caliber of fresh-out-of-college graduates, which nearly half of respondents (49 percent) rank as better than five years ago. But there are hiring challenges as experience level requirements rise, with nearly seven out of ten executives saying it’s more difficult to find qualified entry- to mid-level talent than it was five years ago.
