Reporting to the Controller, the Staff Accountant is a key member of the Finance team focused on managing general accounting, compliance, and select treasury activities.

Essential responsibilities:
• Manage internal process for approval and payment of employee expense reports
• Manage internal procurement process for non-client promotional purchases, including creation and issuance of purchase orders
• Prepare certain consolidated financial reports to support both team responsibilities and senior management reporting
• Responsible for tracking and transactional support for assigned key suppliers, per contract
• Prepare and record manual journal entries
• Reconcile general ledger accounts as allocated by Senior Accountants
• Prepare annual 1099’s for consumers/prize winners, as necessary
• Provide support for external audit of financial statements
• Provide assistance and back up capacity to other team members when necessary

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other related filed; or the equivalent amount of hands on experience working in a Staff Accountant role, preferably in an interactive/consulting agency or in a marketing/advertising environment with Fortune 500 clients
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably with experience in expense reporting and AP
• Experience in a services or technology business model preferred
• Experience with an enterprise financial systems, Oracle a plus
