The Reporting Developer will be responsible for developing, producing, and updating reporting for our clients, operations and finance teams.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Extract, analyze and transform large amounts of data in multiple, sometimes complex, formats
  • Execute existing reporting according to their respective schedules and dependencies
  • Write and update the underlying SQL queries to fetch data and perform calculations off new data warehouse structure
  • Develop and update existing SSRS reports via Visual Studio
  • Gather requirements and build new SSRS reporting based on client or internal needs
  • Develop and execute test cases to validate deliverables meet requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing reports by leveraging technology to continually maximize productivity
  • Assist with development and delivery of report usage training to business users
  • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs

 Demonstrated experience and proficiency in the following technologies:

  • SSRS Experience is required (2+ years)
  • Experience creating SSRS reports via Visual Studio
  • Ability to create complex queries, procedures and functions using SQL
  • Proficiency in MS SQL Server 2012
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of data warehousing
  • Proficiency in MS Suite

Attributes:

  • BS degree in Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Market Research, Math or other related field; or the equivalent amount of project or work experience –
  • 5+ years’ experience, preferably in an interactive/consulting agency or in a marketing/advertising environment with Fortune 500 clients.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points in a collaborative atmosphere (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Critical thinker with investigative mindset and a desire to learn new competencies and skills with tenacity to follow through
  • Proven analytical, organizational, project and time management skills that demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities independently — from collecting requirements to delivering final output
  • Client-centric work approach with attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven agency environment
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve business issues as a collaborative business partner adept in building cross-functional relationships to drive business results
  • Some domestic and international travel as necessary
