The Solution Design Manager serves as the YA’s integrator for the Sales & Account Management, Client Delivery and Operations teams ensuring promotions are sold and delivered accurately. This role is key to defining solutions that YA delivers to clients align with our product vision and are properly articulated for internal teams to estimate and execute flawlessly. The Solution Design manager ushers solutions through the promotion lifecycle as a business owner to reduce friction, increase speed to market, and meet client expectations.

The Solution Design Manager plays a critical role in our sales and expansion discussions by providing subject matter expertise about YA products and services, analyzing prospect needs and existing client new opportunities, providing benchmarks and best practices, and designing effective solutions to achieve client goals. This role’s key contribution is to leverage the right people to build the right solutions for our clients and YA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage relationships with Account Management and Sales to define new solutions for clients
  • Develop relationships with delivery team – Product Managers, BAs, User Experience, Contact Center, Operations, and Finance)
  • Build demos and perform demos for solutions
  • Ensure solution consistency from sales pursuit to delivery; taking ownership of and delivering on commitments made in the sales cycle and aligning commitments with YA needs
  • Organize key stakeholders and contributors in the solution development process
  • Drive consumer experience for new programs
  • Cleary document and define solutions for delivery team to deliver speedy estimates and accurate project delivery
  • Present defined solutions options to YA product, delivery and pricing roles for approval
  • Maintain understanding of our solutions, our partner’s products, and available components
  • Contribute to vendor selection and product development process leveraging core understanding of our clients’ needs
  • Leverage problem solving and analytical abilities to create customer centric solutions

Demonstrated experience and proficiency in the following technologies:

  • Proficiency in MS Suite, with emphasis PowerPoint and Excel

Base Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of training and work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in software delivery, engagement marketing execution, or user experience with a proven track record of meeting client needs
  • Experience defining market-leading solutions that grow sales, align with company goals, and deliver profit
  • Client centric work style approach, preferably in an interactive/consulting agency or in a marketing/advertising environment with Fortune 500 clients
  • Track record defining successful promotional marketing communication campaigns utilizing engagement tactics including email, text messaging, and push notifications.
  • Proven ability to manage and execute complex projects in an external client facing, deadline driven environment
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve business issues as a collaborative business partner adept in building cross-functional relationships and manage through influence to drive business results
  • Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts verbally and in writing, and present to all levels of an organization
  • Proven analytical, organizational, project and time management skills that demonstrate the ability to manage projects independently from collecting requirements to delivering final output
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
